Last Saturday I attended a singles activity held in the "This is the Place" Heritage Park in SLC. I had always seen the park as I headed to Hogle Zoo, but have never looked around. We were able to ride the train around the park, look at all the old buildings, and even got to walk through Brigham Young's house. The monument pictured above includes the first settlers of the area, not just the Mormon Pioneers. I suggest to anyone that has not been there to make a point in doing so.
